Great photograph, I love how the bird's head is framed by another's wings. The effect is chaotic (but to me) not threatening like Hitchcock. The feeling is more frantic action, the birds are afraid, not the watcher.

Anyone can turn the sun into a yellow circle only an artist can turn a yellow circle into the sun--paraphrase from Picasso
even though its just a picture of a bunch of birds being fed, that looks really cool!
very nice, taking something like that and turning it into something artistic =)

I am so happy with this picture! It was such luck when I walked through the zoo a few days ago and the birds (hundreds of ducks and seagulls) were fed and just created this absolute mayhem! I just shot a whole series and this was by far the best one of them. I didn't tweak it a whole lot, it is what it is, basically. ;->

Thanks for the comment though, it really means a lot. :-)
yea it definitely turned out really cool

my friend is sitting here and she agrees with me

Like you duck picture, this really shows the chaotic frezy the birds go in when they see food.
They act as if they have never seen food before, even though they eat all the time.
Crazy birds, I love em.

Like it is the last food available on this planet, LOL! "Soylent Green" for birds! Which one is Charlton Heston?
Great pattern shot! The energy and chaos is really amazing!

Thank you, I am really happy with this shot. I got a couple more which are also nice, but this is by far the best one. And I never would have thought that a bunch of gulls could be interesting. ;->
Definitely a great shot, lucky you managed to get it. It's full of movement, the rush of it all is really engrossing, draws one in to take a closer look. I like how one of the the heads in particular was framed by two wings, its the only one staring at the camera and i found my eyes drawn to it more than once at surveying the piece :D

Never let your mind wander, it may never come back
It is probably my favourite of all my photos, too, even if it happened absolutely accidentally. I just madly shot away while those birds were going crazy, and this one was the one of them where everything fell into place, especially because the focus was on that one bird in the middle.

thanks so much for the comment, it is much appreciated! :-)
