I think the intention on this one is great, but there are a few things that, in my opinion, could make it more interesting, and I would say that the framing would be the key. You see, since the top is so light and the bottom is so heavy (specially because not only of the lighting, but also the amount of detail), the photo has a sort of unbalanced feel. No matter how hard one looks from the middle to the top, your eyes are always pulled to the bottom. Hence, I'd say a bit of the tiles could be cropped off so as to improve the balance. Also, I believe the horizon line is a bit inclined counter-clock wise, so I think you could rotate the photo a bit.
I am saying this because I find the architectural structure altogether very compeling, and that was what called me to this picture in particular. The light gives it a very mirror-y feeling, and the perspective increases that idea as well
