Mouse Hunter by Katzilla13 Mouse Hunter by Katzilla13
The sly little fox again. He actually caught something while I watched him.

I love the framing on this piece - and the way the fox's coat stands out against the snow - good use of light :D

Thank you very much. As this is a wild fox, this picture really means a lot to me. :-)

You have a great camera, the snow on its face is more detailed than I could ever get. The contrast of the orange on white works well too. :+fav:

Thank you very much for the faves and the comment.:-) I agree, I love my camera, but the zoom could be better (and will be better once Tamron's new 70-300mm for Sony hits the market). :-)

You're most welcome.

I'll have to look it up, I'm in need of a good camera.

I can recommend it, but I think there are a couple of newer ones already on the market.

Oh my God, what a beautiful shot! I love how you caught him in his preditory pose (at least that's what I think it is XD). Plus the lighting hitting his fur is really gorgeous!

Pretty creature! I love the snow around its eye--it looks like a deliberate decoration, almost.

Doesn't it? It was a great thing that fox was mouse-hunting, this way, it stuck it's muzzle into the snow again and again. :-)

I especially like this shot, he looks more preditory, I love it when shots of "cute little animals" really show their dignity and intensity. I had a little floppy eared rabbit once , technically he was a buck and you could tell thats just the way he thought of himself.

I agree, I love shots of animals with their dignity intact. Just for being able to survive in these harsh times, each wild-living animal should get a huge amount of respect

Für Tierfotografen eher öfter. ;-)
