Waterfall on the Beinn Dampf track near Torridon. It was a mystery to us why that path did not lead up to the waterfall, you could only see it from far away. So we decided to do a little *free-ranging*, which was rather interesting given the boggy nature of our surroundings... but ultimately very worthwile and funny.

LOL, you should have seen me *hanging* there in suspension in order to keep the camera still enough without a tripod, but with TWO strong grey-filters to capture the flowing water! It must have been a strange sight! ;-)

Of course it was graceful! It's part of photography school, you know, not to make a *complete* fool out of yourself while shooting (only *part-fool* ;-)).

Ah, da spricht die Kennerin! :-) Ich hatte sogar zwei Graufilter drauf, denn das Tageslicht in Schottland ist wirklich außerordentlich intensiv. Irgendwie dachte ich mir, dass das ein Bild für Dich ist. ;-)

Ja, diese weichen Opaltöne und die scharfen Schwarz-weiß-Kontraste auf Birke und Steinen (Granit?)sind toll :XD:... Wenn ich bei hohem Sonnenstand fotografiere, haben meine Bilder oft einen Blaustich. Es fehlen die warmen Brauntöne. Hilft dagegen auch ein Graufilter?

Das kannst Du zumindest mal probieren. Seltsamerweise hat der Graufilter bei einigen meiner Basstölpel-Fotos für einen warmen Farbhauch gesorgt, obwohl er doch farbneutral sein soll?!
