"This one looks about the right size for breakfast!" this male Siberian tiger seems to think. The tigers especially were incredibly active in the morning and very keen on interacting with the visitors (more pictures still to come)... perhaps they were only hungry, but it still made for incredible photos.
It was the most wonderful begin of my yesterday's visit to the Leipzig Zoo, which I can only recommend to everyone who has the chance to go there. It has huge spaces for the animals, and everything has been done with loving care and consideration for the animals. Really a zoo that sets an example of how things should be. |
