I very much liked Edinburgh for a number of reasons: it's a city full of life, vibrant, with great architecture that successfully blends breathtaking modern design into the old, medieval streets.

a really really great capture of the new against the old backdrop ..... and awesome quality to the shot .... kind of too bad that they are the modern lights and antennas in the "old" part but nuttin you can do about that .... it's a really neat shot

Yeah, modern times do not stop, they will creep into the skyline no matter what. But I enjoyed that mixture immensely in Edinburgh. :-)

LOL, I was rather confused. ;-) I understand what you mean, I really like the mix of old and new architecture in Edinburgh, of which that was an excellent example. :-)
